When slashing is the better option

Slashing is suited to taller, thicker or rougher growth. It is commonly used for paddocks, vacant blocks, fence lines, access tracks and larger open areas where standard mowing is not practical.

• The grass is too high or dense for a mower.
• The ground is rough, uneven or partly overgrown.
• You need a paddock, block or boundary brought back under control.
• You want to improve access before ongoing maintenance.

When mowing is the better option

Mowing is better for areas that are already manageable and need a cleaner finish. This can include residential blocks, commercial grassed areas and tidy acre-or-two properties where presentation matters.

Can you use both services?

Yes. Many properties benefit from a slashing-first approach. Once heavy growth is reduced, some sections may become suitable for regular mowing. This can make the property easier to maintain and improve the finished look over time.
