Start with visibility
A slash of frontage, boundaries and internal tracks helps agents, surveyors, buyers and fencers see what they are working with. Full-block clearance is optional. Prioritise zones that matter for photos, legal access and install lines.
Checklist before booking
- Confirm gate codes, keys and access routes.
- Note slopes, wet areas and known debris in grass.
- Decide whether you need full block or targeted areas only.
- Allow time for regrowth if marketing photos are weeks away.
Coordinate with other trades
Fencers often appreciate a slash beforehand. Earthmoving or survey work may need similar clearance. Slashing first reduces surprises hidden in long grass.
